The short version

This website has no customer accounts, login or online contact form.

We do not use advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking technologies.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to produce aggregated statistics about website use and performance.

If you email us, request a quotation or become a customer, we use the information you provide to respond to you, plan your project, prepare quotations and carry out the agreed work.

Where reasonably necessary, limited project and contact information may be shared with subcontractors, tradespeople, designers, suppliers, delivery companies and our accountant.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Information we may collect

When you contact us or work with us, we may collect or receive:

your name;
your email address and telephone number;
the address or general location of the property;
information about your proposed building or renovation project;
photographs, drawings, measurements, plans and specifications;
information about materials, finishes, kitchens, bathrooms, tiles or other design choices;
preferred timescales and budget information;
quotation, contract and project information;
invoice, payment and transaction information;
correspondence between you and Novara Renovations Ltd; and
any other information that you choose to provide.

Please do not send information that is not reasonably necessary for your enquiry or project.

Information we may receive from other people

We may receive relevant project or contact information from another person involved in your property or project.

another owner, resident or member of your household;
a subcontractor or tradesperson;
an architect, kitchen designer, bathroom designer, tiling specialist or other project designer;

How we use project and customer information

We may use personal information to:

prepare an estimate or quotation;
assess the requirements of the property;
coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople;
coordinate designers and other specialists;
order materials and arrange deliveries;

issue and manage quotations, invoices and payments;
keep appropriate contractual, accounting and business records;
manage warranties, insurance matters, disputes or legal claims;

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use this website.

filtered URL or query information.

We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure website performance.

This may include:

the page or route;
browser and device information;
network speed;
country;
page-loading measurements; and
Core Web Vitals such as loading, responsiveness and layout stability.

We use these services only for aggregated website usage and performance statistics.

We do not use them for:

advertising;
retargeting;
cross-site tracking;
profiling individual visitors; or
making decisions about individual visitors.

Vercel Web Analytics uses a temporary visitor identifier derived from request information. Vercel states that this identifier is discarded after 24 hours.

The reports available to Novara Renovations Ltd are not intended to identify individual visitors or reconstruct an individual’s browsing activity across different websites.

Analytics preferences

You can object to website analytics at any time using the “Analytics preferences” control in the website footer.

If you switch analytics off, this website will stop loading Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights in that browser.

We store only a small preference in your browser to remember your choice.

We do not use advertising cookies or marketing cookies.

Website hosting and security

Vercel hosts and delivers the website and provides the analytics and performance services described above.

Cloudflare provides DNS, website delivery and security services.

These providers may process limited technical information where necessary to deliver and protect the website, including:

IP address;
requested URL;
browser and device information;
request date and time;
response and security information; and
information used to identify malicious or abnormal traffic.

We share personal information only where there is a legitimate and proportionate reason to do so.

Website and email providers

We may share or allow processing by:

Vercel, which hosts the website and provides Web Analytics and Speed Insights;
Cloudflare, which provides DNS, website delivery and security services; and
Zoho, which provides our business email service.

Subcontractors and tradespeople

We may share relevant project information with subcontractors, tradespeople and site workers who are involved in:

assessing the work;
preparing a quotation;
planning the project; or
carrying out the agreed work.

Depending on what is necessary, this may include:

the property address;
the customer’s name;
relevant telephone or email contact details;
access arrangements;
project plans or specifications; and
information about the work they are expected to perform.

Designers and specialist consultants

We may share relevant information with designers and specialist consultants involved in the project, including kitchen, bathroom, tiling or other design specialists.

Where direct discussion with the customer is reasonably necessary, we may provide the customer’s name, telephone number or email address so that the specialist can contact them about the project.

Suppliers, retailers and delivery companies

We may share information with suppliers, retailers, manufacturers or delivery companies when ordering materials or arranging delivery to the property.

This will normally be limited to:

the delivery or site address;
delivery instructions;
the project or order reference; and
a site contact name or telephone number where required for delivery.

Accountants and financial records

Our accountant or bookkeeping provider may have access to information contained in:

quotations;
invoices;
payment records;
transaction records;
customer correspondence relevant to an invoice or payment; and
other records needed to prepare accounts and meet tax obligations.

Other professional or legal recipients

Where reasonably necessary, we may also share information with:

insurers;
legal advisers;
professional advisers;
courts;
regulators;
HM Revenue & Customs; or
other public authorities where disclosure is required by law.

Different recipients have different legal roles

Some organisations process information on our behalf as service providers.

Others, such as accountants, professional designers, suppliers, delivery companies or certain subcontractors, may be independently responsible for how they handle information for their own professional, operational or legal purposes.

We share only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Some of our technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.

How long we keep information

Website analytics

Vercel Web Analytics uses a temporary visitor identifier that is discarded after 24 hours.

Aggregated Web Analytics and Speed Insights reports are retained according to the reporting period available under our Vercel account.

Unsuccessful enquiries

If an enquiry does not become a project, we normally retain the related correspondence for no longer than 12 months after the last meaningful contact.

We may retain it for longer where:

discussions remain active;
the customer asks us to retain it;
it is relevant to a complaint or dispute; or
there is another legal or business reason to retain it.

Projects and customers

Where an enquiry becomes a project, we retain relevant contractual and project records for as long as reasonably necessary to:

provide the agreed services;
manage the project;
deal with warranties or insurance matters;
resolve complaints or disputes; and
establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Accounting and tax records

Invoices, payments, contracts and related accounting records are normally retained for at least six years from the end of the financial year to which they relate, or longer where required by law or an ongoing HMRC enquiry.

We delete or anonymise personal information when it is no longer reasonably required.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you the right to:

ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
ask us to delete information;
ask us to restrict how information is used;
object to processing based on legitimate interests; and

We will respond without undue delay and normally within one month. If a request is complex or several requests are made, we may take up to two additional months. If this happens, we will explain the reason within the first month.

Your right to object

You may also switch off website analytics using the “Analytics preferences” control in the website footer.

An objection does not automatically mean that all processing must stop. We may continue where we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or where information is required for legal claims.
